I doubt he will play, but two things you must keep in mind before going with the Raiders:

1. The Packers running game is one of the best in the league, while the Raiders run defense is among the worst. Favre hasn't had to make many big plays this season thanks to the play of Ahman Green.
2. You have Rick Mirer at QB. Doug Pederson sucks, but he's been with the Pack for like ten years, and he knows the system very well.
Favre has been playing with a broken thumb the last two months, basically telling teams they are going to run over them, and they still do. Many people actually wanted GB to call Pederson's number a couple weeks ago due to Favre's poor play(because of the thumb).

I hope he doesn't play, I don't think he cares about the consecutive games streak. Sure, he kept playing with a broken thumb, but this is so different. His will to play has got to be zero right now, with football last thing on his mind.

Gimme Green Bay.

partyboy, you make some good points. But here are some other factors which you should consider also. Last week, the Raiders were able to defeat a Baltimore Ravens squad and Jamal Lewis, who had the same motivation that GB must be having since they must win. Still, the Raiders were able to defeat them. How. The Raiders went back to passing and Coach Callahan has finally remembered that it is what has gotten him to the Super Bowl last year. Talk about being a dumb ass. Well anyway, he has stated that he is going back to passing and will let the teams faith rest with that. When Rick Mier took over they stayed with a ground and ball control game, which didn't work. So upon hearing this and based on last weeks results against Baltimore. As well as hearing that ProBowl CB Mckenzie will probably miss this game due to a bad toe injury, which will force the pack to move players around and play more nickel packages to make up for Mckenzie. This will definately favor the passing and running game of the Raiders tonight. Just my opinion.

ID, have you seen Favre play lately, I mean watch a whole game? He has played terribly for the last two months. People actually wanted him to sit a month ago. Pederson does suck, but can he be as bad as Mirer? Green Bay's receivers are all playing very well, the running game is excellent, and the O-line is real solid.

Co-Cap, Mirer was 16-35 for 190 yards last week. It was an ugly game all around. I can't justify making a play on a guy like Mirer, who regularly misses receivers and is asked to throw 35 times a game. GB could suffer if McKenzie is out, but that remains to be seen. I believe he is questionable.

Good Luck to whoever you choose.
